Born Floyd Forrester, in May Pen Clarendon, Jamaica, Andi-Ites spent most of his childhood in Water Lane where he and several brothers were raised by his grandparents. At a tender age Andi-Ites and his mother migrated to the United States, where he attended Middle and High school, as well as College. Andi-Ites’ first professional recorded track was done in a HipHop style, in collaboration with Miami/Fort Lauderdale based rapper Noyd-B. He then created a group called “3rd Level” which took over the South Florida underground air waves. Andi-Ites later left the group to pursue a solo career.

Andi-ites has opened shows for veterans like; Sizzla Kalonji, Buju Banton, Beenie Man and many more internationally known established Reggae artistes. He also released several singles on various labels from Jamaica, United States and the U.K. He has appeared on many compilation albums and featured in many artists’ song releases. AndiItes has voiced a number of singles for Strike Gold, including tracks like “Watch Out,” “Grateful,” and “Shat a Road.”

In 2015 Andi-Ites released his first EP entitled “Self Preservation” containing 6 powerful and unique Reggae songs, sung with passion and drive. Andi-Ites’ “Self Preservation” EP is an eclectic mix of positive and uplifting Reggae Music; including a combination featuring the consistent sounds of Lutan Fyah. Released by Ites Of Life Music and distributed by Zojak Worldwide “Self Preservation” is available on iTunes now.
