Nokrismesi 'Kimmy' Skota is a professional opera singer, specifically a lyric soprano. She trained at the University of Cape Town (UCT) from 2001 to 2008, obtaining a Diploma in Opera, BMus (Honours) and Postgraduate Diploma in Performance. She is best known for her performances with internationally acclaimed Dutch violinist Andre Rieu, which led to her touring and performing all over the world from 2010 to 2013.
Besides opera she can also sing jazz, soul and gospel. In late 2014 Skota suddenly disappeared from the Johann Strauss Orchestra and became part of controversial Nigerian pastor TB Joshua's Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), releasing a video for the Joshua-penned song 'Heaven is our Home'.
