What we have say first and foremost to poor people of the world is that Rastafari are here to defend your rights and lives. We are known to be the poor people defenders, we have risen from the slums and ghetto’s ourselves and know exactly what is like to live in poverty. Through Rastafari we have become free and rich beyond imagination. Maybe not in material wealth but in mental freedom and wisdom (which is worth more than silver or gold)
There is great promise in knowing and living this way of life Rastafari are teaching the people about. Which can be Salvation…now what kind material possession is worth more then that?
The greatest wealth someone could gain in these times is to progress, physically, mentally and spiritually, this is exactly what Rastafari has to offer.
Financial gain can also be attained more easily when there is progress in these areas,
being fully balanced and conscious of who you are can make you more successful in all areas. We must know that true happiness doesn’t come from the dollar but is something that is found within, no matter in what difficulty and hardships people might be in. Africa is a good example of this… even though we all know Africa is the poorest place on earth, people from the west will always amazed by the love, kind heartedness and joy people still have over there. And are often envious of the way these people seem to enjoy life more then them, who are living with all the wealth in the world.
Money can cause frustration and physical harm and in most cases is so far out of reach (especially for poor people), that it is better not to waste too much time and energy on getting this. This will leave a lot more time and opportunities to work on things that are more Important, it will be more profitable for people in the long run if they would invest in themselves and others, trying to become more aware of themselves and others. If enough people would do this babylon would loose one of there main methods of control, as they say that money is the root off all evil. There is a lot of truth in that, not that this is always the case, a lot of good can be done with money, and the ways to get it are in most cases not done through evil deeds. Its just that there are two sides to money and the negative part of it is messing up this world and leaving many many people in suffering. It’s the poor people that need to make that change, because we are the ones frustrated and acting envious and bad minded (trying to get money through criminal behavior). But once power has been given or taken over by the righteous ones, the wealth will be divided in such a way that no one will need to be hungry.
Once we overstand that true wealth comes from inside we can take over from babylon and just do good things with money.
Know that personal progress doesn’t necessarily has to cost any or much money (although it can help) and that this will be your greatest paycheck eventually. Remember we are living in time wherein we don’t know what is going to happen to us and the Earth, but that the signs are here and if we are living in a time of spiritual upliftment then this should motivate people in trying to be more conscious instead of perusing material wealth.
