To the Husslers we have to say is that we overstand more or less why you are doing this type work. Rastafari usually grow up in underprivelegd circumstances that many street husslers do, even though husslers come out of all classes and there are rich and poor husslers. But still we overstand that most of you who are in this business, do so because of how babylon has built the system we are living in. Leaving many people hungry, in stress and in craving for the riches that other people enjoy, not providing the circumstances and opportunities so that All people could live with this wealth.
For many people the only or easiest way to get this money would seem to be through drug dealing and other criminal behavior, stealing, deceiving...
There are different reasons why people think they should make such steps in their lives.
Sometimes the financial despair and hunger is no longer bearable and ones really Need to do Something to survive. In the various poor regions of the world like in the ghetto’s there is often no other choice then to break the law to survive, that is part of the babylon system, giving people hardly any other choices to earn something and if one does try to make an honest living the earnings are often minimal by doing hard labor with often unsatisfying and demotivating work. These circumstances make it appealing, tempting and in some cases necessary to step into drug dealing or other criminal behavior.
Another reason is that we get bombarded on TV through movies, series and the lavish life of the rich and famous, actors, music artists and athletes that look so appealing having nice houses, nice cars, nice clothes, beautiful people doing nice things. Then we get all kinds of commercials that try to motivate us into buying all these new and wonderful products, for many people it is very hard to resist this (This is mind control, by babylon).
So how are we going to get all these things if we don’t have a good paying job so that we can afford it all? The answer is with some kind of hustle…that is often the only way, we know people have to do things sometimes that are not necessary legal, so we can get some of this money and might enjoy our lives a bit more that would otherwise be hard to achieve.
Now when it comes to hustling there are quite some options, and there is always the option to hustle in a good or a bad way. If you can find something that doesn’t hurt you or anyone else and is done with some level of integrity, we would consider this a good hustle, some examples being maybe, growing and selling Herb (Ganjah), doing illegal taxi work, selling clothes or something else on the street (not hard drugs), or maybe some kind of street performance. There are only a view ways to do this and the pay you get from it may not be as rewarding as the more criminal hustles like stealing, deceiving, and selling hard drugs. People get hurt with these things so this is what we call bad hustling...In these areas there is a lot of fast money to be made but also comes with more risks and consequences. Other then the problems it creates for your victims, you yourself might end up in jail, sometimes hurt or even loose your life here on earth and maybe even the afterlife. Keep in mind that ones who do this might be selling their soul in the process. Will there be place in Zion for the bad minded, aggressive, unconscious people who don’t seem have any trouble hurting or deceiving others for their own well being? As we are not the ones that are responsible for anyone’s judgment (this is something between you and YAH) we can’t give you that answer. We can only speculate and maybe find an answer in the Bible or other sacred texts about this subject. Your own intelligence could give you an answer to this question…so if you have any love and care for your life and soul and want the possibility for salvation, then think about this for a minute and decide if what you are doing (being part of something that hurts and takes advantage of people’s weaknesses) is going to be beneficial for you and your soul in the long run and if you are not taking to much chances for short term success. Now some of you might think that you have already done so much wrong that it is too late for your soul to be saved and might just as well keep on doing these things. But know this…that salvation can come for any one who truly and wholeheartedly shows repentance and regret and starts living his or her live filled with love and respect for YAH and All of His creations. Who you are in the present moment or tomorrow is what is important.
And remember that you are not solely responsible for your actions, babylon plays a big part in this… although people in the same situation as you might have made better more positive decisions, YAH knows we are not all the same and able to make these conscious decisions for ourselves. There can be forgiveness for those that deserve it in some way in the sight of the Most High YAH Rastafari.
