To all the drug users, especially hard drug users we have this to say…First of all we don’t want to judge and have the best intentions for you. Still we do have the overstanding that the drugs you are taking is harming you spiritually, mentally and physically. Most of you have this same overstanding but the feeling these drugs give you often overrides sensible thinking or acting. The after effects of drugs and what kind of harm is being done is not always so easy to see or feel, most people still function reasonably well and therefore think or say that everything is under control and will tell people not worry about them.
Still most of you are aware of the negative effects in the long run, that you don’t function in the same way as when you were clean and that it effects your physical, emotional, and spiritual well being and would like to do something about it. We won’t say that there is nothing to be gained by using drugs, because there is a lesson in almost everything and this path will surly teach you a thing or two about your selves and life itself. But we have doubts if this is the best way to learn about yourself, it’s a path…but there are different paths that can be taken that will teach you the same things, eventually most teachings will lead to the truth or a deeper overstanding about yourself. Knowing that this life style is not beneficial for your mind, body and soul will sooner or later be part of that truth.
Many people know drug users personally and know that these are good people, but we can also see that you are in a lot of cases not functioning properly anymore and that your lives are deteriorating, you seem of balance and frustrated. It is often visible in your face and how you deal with the situations in life. Often addicted people can’t see these effects anymore as it takes some time to degenerate to this stage, and might not be so noticeable for the person in question, outsiders can often see this change more clearly. Denial also plays a big part with addicted people. But still when things are going bad these people will often admit to themselves that it is better not to take drugs, that it is affecting them in a negative way and will often make a commitment to stop taking drugs. The problem with drugs is the power that it has over your own free will and that it is not so easy to get rid of that craving, we know this…so we don’t want to blame or judge anyone who can’t get out of this habit. We just want to show you some Love in the form of some motivational reasoning, in a way that it might motivate you to make a greater effort then before to try and withstand the craving you have. For one by stressing that the period we are living in now is more serious then in the past, there is more at stake in these times. We are living in a time where we have the opportunity and might be expected of us to grow and develop as human beings physically, mentally and spiritually. This is of great importance and by taking drugs you are (in most cases) suppressing and withholding this development and that could have grave consequences for your personal progress.
So what we would like to ask you is to dig deep within yourselves and ask yourself if what you are doing is good for you and your spiritual growth and maybe if it’s not time to make some serious changes in your life, being motivated by the time and circumstances we are living in now, you had your fun…but now it’s time to be a bit more serious and conscious about your life. It’s not for us to determine if you will get a ticket for the train to Zion (this is in the hands of you and YAH), we just think it diminishes your chances and would like to make you aware of that.
Whether you feel the same or not is up to you, but we think this is not the time to be taking chances with your life and soul. Maybe it’s possible to reach Zion under influence of Cocaine, Crack, Heroine, XCT and so on, but we urge you not to assume this and try to make the needed changes in your life. Just to be sure…
